This collaboration is more than a styling exercise; it’s a tribute to the comfort and clarity he finds when returning to familiar places and memories.
The design taps into a nostalgic mood, blending rugged, outdoor-inspired elements with a throwback vibe from early 2000s fashion and classic ’70s running shoe shapes. Expect a rich, dark brown premium nubuck upper over breathable mesh, paired with traditional hiking-style eyelets. The insoles lean into nostalgia too, featuring a plaid flannel motif that nods to grunge culture and rugged outdoor wear.
There’s plenty of customization on offer: you can swap in both rope and yarn laces to suit personal taste, and the tongue labels showcase Basketcase’s distinctive ballerina emblem. The sole foundation uses a black EVA midsole to deliver contemporary comfort and support.
